The subject of much rumor, speculation and yes, derision, the Super Bowl finally brings us our first real look at Michael Bay’s Transformers reboot, Transformers: Age of Extinction.

First of all, yes, the Dinobots are a thing, and you get your first look at them in action in this exciting new tease. In fact, it seems that the trailer is down right Dinobot-centric, complete with a shot of Optimus Prime riding Grimlock and Slag (the Triceratops looking one) making a bit of a mess. Mark Wahlberg himself even shows up to shout a couple of orders.

The real question though is does the trailer fill the requisite amount of Bay-hem? Indeed it does, with enough action to launch two or three different movies. But did it look like to anyone else that Optimus Prime took some (fatal) fire there at the beginning of the ad? And did it look like maybe Galvatron, the next level version of Megatron from the original animated Transformers movie, put in an appearance too? Seems like this first trailer has raised more questions than it answered. Given that this is a Michael Bay movie though, things shouldn’t get too complicated.

Transformers: Age of Extinction, starring Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, T.J. Miller and a bunch of CG robots, will be in theaters on June 27th.
