With little under a month to go until release, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is practically everywhere. Not only is the latest trailer playing in theaters across the globe, but the Gareth Edwards-directed actioner is also the cover star of this month’s issue of Empire magazine, promising scores of exciting new trinkets ahead of the movie’s December 16 launch day.

Eager to keep that momentum trucking along, over the weekend Disney and Lucasfilm rolled out not one, or two, but three brand new TV spots for Rogue One, and collectively they offer up an exciting new peek at Edwards’ anthology movie in action.

Adopting a tone that’s radically different from existing Star Wars films, Rogue One is more akin to a gritty war movie than your standard space opera of good trumping evil. That core power struggle still exists, of course, with Felicity Jones’ Jyn Erso assembling a ragtag crew of Rebel fighters to steal those all-important schematics to the Death Star, a weapon of unparalleled power.

On the other end of the spectrum, we have Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) and the inimitable Darth Vader, and together they place the proverbial crosshairs on Scarif, a tropical planet upon which most of Rogue One‘s crucial battle scenes take place. You’ll be able to see that clash and much more via those new TV spots, below.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will hit theaters on December 16. It’s the first of Disney’s planned anthology movies to do so, before the Mouse House courts moviegoers back to the core timeline late next year with the release of Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: Episode VIII.
