So we’re about a month away now from the sequel to one of the best comedies that we’ve seen in the past 5, if not 10 years. Yes, that’s a bold statement but so what? I loved The Hangover and it’s amongst the funniest movies I’ve ever seen. The Wolfpack is returning for The Hangover Part II on May 26th and Warner Bros. is starting to amp up the marketing. Released over the weekend were four new TV spots for the film. They include a couple new scenes mixed in with some recycled footage from previous trailers.

A lot of people are complaining that the film looks identical to the first, and it does, but it still looks pretty entertaining. And I’m sure director Todd Phillips still has a few surprises in store for us. As mentioned above, I loved the first film and I’ll be there opening day to see this one, regardless of what the trailers have me thinking.

Check out the plot summary and new TV spots below.

In The Hangover Part II, Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu’s wedding. After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don’t always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can’t even be imagined.
