Uwe Boll Blasts George Clooney, Thinks You Should “F*$K Yourself,” And Spews Silly Insults In YouTube Rants

Chances are you haven't seen Rampage (a rather decent film) or its sequel, so you probably had no idea that Boll is currently crowdfunding Rampage 3: No Mercy, and after going the indiegogo route (which failed miserably), Boll fled to Kickstarter hoping that a different contributing community could keep his Damn-the-man franchise running strong. Long story short, the campaign failed yet again, and now Uwe Boll has one statement for us all: "Fuck Yourself."

But Boll wasn’t done there! The low-budget madman then picked up a copy of The Hollywood Reporter and started mispronouncing celebrity names while bashing idolized A-List stars. Hollywood is nothing but a “bullshit business” with “bullshit idiots” who are just “f*@king themselves in their assholes” so they can drive around Beverly Hills in Ferraris (according to Boll). Oh, did I mention these videos are NSFW without headphones?

Uwe is a filmmaker who makes REAL movies, dammit! He’s trying to save the youth of today! Iron Man doesn’t REALLY exist – why are we throwing money at these “stupid, absurd” movies when he’s crafting societal game-changers like Attack On Darfur?!

If you thought Uwe was done there, HA – you don’t know Uwe Boll. This is a man who notoriously boxed critics of his films (and kicked some serious ass), so he jumped at the chance to provide The Movie Waffler with his reaction to the recent internet feedback his videos have been receiving.

Here’s what Boll commented:

“My answer to the response is exactly what i said:  the geeks and idiots fell in the trap and they think they can win in sucking up to Hollywood and bashing me ….

I did with POSTAl, TUNNELRATS, HEART OF AMERICA, ASSAULT ON WALL STREET , ATTACK ON DARFUR, RAMPAGE 1 and 2 and AUSCHWITZ, more great and important movies than 80% of the celebrated Hollywood directors, but those lazy idiots identify me only with HOUSE OF THE DEAD or ALONE IN THE DARK! ”

A word of advice, Uwe – pick your battles. Do we really think Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and Matt Damon are taking Boll’s hilariously-broken insults to heart? No. Do they even know who the director of Seed and Tunnel Rats is? Probably not. The internet is able to give ANYONE a voice, and just like rambunctious critics who love hearing their own hate-speak post undignified rants against helpless filmmakers, Boll’s ranting is nothing but a weak cry for attention based on ill-advised raw emotion. As it stands, Rampage 3: No Mercy has raised $26K of a $55K goal with only three days left, so it looks like Boll’s little publicity stunt didn’t rally any troops.

If anything, the videos are a pretty decent source of entertainment. Some of the confusingly offensive(?) insults this guy comes up with are comedic gold (Fucking-Chinese-Ali-Baba-Idiot), but the real question is whether Boll’s threats of disappearance are true or just baseless comments.

As it remains, Boll’s name hasn’t been relevant since he was the cool target for horror fandom to hate. If he were to shout some obscenities and slam the door on a bunch of today’s generation of horror fans, would any of them even know who he was? It’s been over a decade since House Of The Dead, and just about as long since Alone In The Dark and BloodRayne – will Boll’s “frustration” spell the end of Rampage 3: No Mercy? And 12 Hours? And Bigfoots vs. Zombies?

Nah – I’ve got a feeling we haven’t seen the last of Boll. For better or worse.
