The other night E! revealed some footage from the Immortals trailer. Someone managed to record some of it and they posted the bootleg video online. It’s not great quality but it does give us a look at the film. To be honest though, it’s not looking too great. Granted it’s not fair to judge just from the video below but still, I’m not terribly impressed.
Singh’s cast includes Henry Cavill, Stephen Dorff, Isabel Lucas, Freida Pinto, Luke Evans, Kellan Lutz, John Hurt and Mickey Rourke. The film has a 300-esque look and feel to it yet it looks somewhat underwhelming. Kind of like a tacky version of 300. Like I said above though, it’s not right to make a final judgement call on the film based off of this footage.
The biggest draw of the film is going to be Henry Cavill. This will likely be the first time that most people get a look at the next Superman. I’ve seen Cavill in The Tudors but I’m still looking forward to seeing him here. It will be interesting to see how he leads the film and if he’s leading man material.
