First up was this morning’s blistering TV spot that had Spidey go toe-to-toe with Thanos (AKA Marvel’s Mad Titan), before Marvel Studios rolled out an extensive featurette to commemorate 10 years of the MCU. And it doesn’t end there, either, as we’ve now got yet another new teaser which sees Wakanda – and our heroes – preparing for the arrival of Josh Brolin’s big bad, who’s headed there to get his hands on the Mind Stone, which currently resides in Vision’s head.

As far as new footage goes, this latest TV spot doesn’t have much, save for a few shots here and there, but with less than two weeks to go before release, that’s absolutely fine. After all, after 10 years and 18 films, this upcoming conclusion to a decade-long journey is sure to bring about more than a few surprises and why spoil them all ahead of time, right?

Circling back to Thanos and his quest for those all-powerful Infinity Stones, though, and it’s apparently going to cost the Avengers dearly if they’re to stop him, with director Joe Russo describing the Mad Titan as an unbeatable force in a recent interview:

“I mean it’s like death comes to call for the Avengers, it’s a nearly unbeatable force who is determined to destroy half the life in the universe in order to bring it into balance. He sees it as an overgrown garden that he needs to prune. As you mentioned he is fairly invincible. He’s a sort of genetic mutation who’s the Genghis Khan of the universe. Unbeatable on the battlefield and stronger than the Hulk. His skin is invincible, so it’s going to cost the Avengers something to defeat him.”

“Evacuate the city. Engage all defenses. And get this man a shield.” Avengers: Infinity War is poised to whisk viewers back to Wakanda and its bustling metropolis on April 27th. And we couldn’t be more excited.
