Perhaps it’s because DC fans consider it the perfect tonic after the dark and brooding – and rather underwhelming – Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, or because of the sheer star power that David Ayer and Co. have brought together, or maybe the cult of personality generated by Jared Leto’s devilish Joker. Also starring Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo and Adam Beach as Slipknot, Suicide Squad hits theatres on August 5, 2016.
