Watch Keanu Reeves Kick Ass During Weapons Training For John Wick 2

If for some reason you failed to see John Wick, then we'd recommend remedying that as soon as possible. The intense hitman flick brought a breath of fresh air to the stale, hammy chops of the action genre, and a large part of that is down to the performance of its leading man. Keanu Reeves immersed himself in the role of Wick, and looks to be channeling that same ferocity for his reprisal in John Wick: Chapter Two.

We’re basing this assumption on a new set video that’s appeared online. The clip (via /Film) shows Reeves in full-on badass mode stalking through a shooting range during live-ammo preparations. Say what you like about his acting prowess – although I am a fan – his dedication to making the character believable is worth mentioning. Firing a few rounds from a handbag pistol this is not.

Joining Reeves for the second chapter in Wick’s story are newcomers Ruby Rose, Riccardo Scamarcio, Peter Stormare, Bridget Moynahan, Tom Sadowski and Lance Reddick, with Ian McShane and John Leguizamo reprising their roles from the original.

Chad Stahelski, who co-directed the first movie, takes the lead on John Wick: Chapter Two, which is rumored to be targeting a February 10, 2017 release date.
