Our favorite teen heartthrob isn’t done breaking hearts.

Zac Efron will surely draw audiences to The Lucky One, his new film based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks. The first trailer has been released and it’s definitely going to make teenage girls (and maybe their mothers) all over the country cry.

Zefron, as I like to call him, is really cute. I’m not ashamed to admit I like him as a person, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s smoking hot, but this trailer is just plain creepy. The Zef plays a soldier who is madly in love with a woman who he’s never met, and he’s hunting her down until she loves him. This is supposedly very romantic, but I’ve never understood the whole “stalking is love” concept. That being said, I’m sure the film’s intended audience will love it – just look at Twilight.

Be sure to check out the trailer and the film’s official synopsis below and let us know what you think.

U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Zac Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive-a photograph he found of a woman he doesn’t even know. Learning her name is Beth (Taylor Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door, and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.
