With The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey arriving in theatres on December 14th, Sean Chapman and I continue our trek through the lands of Middle Earth by diving into the Lord of the Rings film trilogy. These are my favorite films of all time, and among Sean’s favorites, so we have plenty to say, our exhaustive discussion covering everything from the production and adaptation process to an in-depth breakdown of each major character. It’s a fun, lively, and insightful look back at a true cinematic phenomenon, and reminds us why The Hobbit is such an exciting prospect!

Enjoy the show, and come back next week for a full audio commentary on the 1977 Rankin Bass animated Hobbit movie. Find a copy of this children’s classic if you haven’t already, and get ready for our full commentary next week!
