It’s time for another episode of WGTC Radio, the official podcast of We Got This Covered! Remember to subscribe for free in iTunes by following this link!
This week is very much a ‘grab bag’ style episode, in which we go off on far too many tangents – many of them involving Godzilla, for largely circumstantial reasons – and tie most of our discussions around some interesting recent movie and gaming happenings.
First up, we return to a segment we have not done in a while, in which we talk about some recent movie trailers, including those for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. I also give some thoughts on films that are now in theatres, including Captain Phillips and 12 Years a Slave.
On the video game side of things, we offer some commentary on the massive, never-ending PS4 FAQ Sony released this week, as well as some thoughts on how reviews for Assassin’s Creed IV and Call of Duty: Ghosts have influenced our personal decisions to purchase and play those games when next-gen consoles launch later this month.
And finally, we continue our discussion from last week on Batman: Arkham Origins, to talk about the story in greater depth, and talk about the side-missions and challenge maps – a major part of the Arkham franchise – in more detail.
Enjoy, and come back next Monday evening for our special podcast celebrating the previous home console generation, in anticipation of the PS4 launch.
