Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 officially launches on digital today, July 7. James Gunn’s threequel released in theaters on May 5 and has since $838.6 million and counting at the global box office. The continuation of Rocket Raccoon’s story involves the High Evolutionary, a sadistic scientist and Rocket’s creator, who experiments on animals to create a passive civilization set to inhabit a new world formed in his image, Counter-Earth.

In the action-packed trilogy-ender, Rocket is critically wounded by Adam Warlock, a descendant of high priestess Ayesha. The Guardians are then forced to travel the cosmos in search of an code to override a kill chip implanted in Rocket’s exoskeleton. They encounter the High Evolutionary and discover the secrets of Rocket’s tragic backstory, all while looking to save their friend and their home, Knowhere, from imminent destruction.

Anyone looking to stream Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 online can find it on Google Play, Prime Video, Vudu, and Apple TV. an Apple TV subscription is just $6.99 a month, whereas Prime Video is $8.99 a month by itself and $14.99 as part of an Amazon Prime membership.

The Guardians’ third outing will also be available for purchase on Blu-ray and DVD starting August 1, and will likely arrive on Disney Plus in either August or September. The DVD can be pre-ordered on Amazon in 4K for $30.
