Here’s a contest for our Canadian readers. Remstar Films will be releasing the tense drama Welcome to New York on September 5th with a premiere at The Royal, and thanks to Remstar, We Got This Covered is giving away one (1) run-of-engagement pass to see the film.

Jacqueline Bisset and Gérard Depardieu star in Welcome to New York, which was directed by Abel Ferrara and written by Ferrara and Chris Zois. The synopsis reads as follows:

Mr. Devereaux is a powerful man. A man who handles billions of dollars every day. A man who controls the economic fate of nations. A man driven by a frenzied and unbridled sexual hunger. A man who dreamed of saving the world and who cannot save himself. A terrified man. A lost man.

This is not about what happened but what will happen. A film set in the world of the rich and the mighty, the haves, the have-nots and the have-even-lesses, the powerful and the disempowered. Of beggars and kings, whores, johns and lovers. The judged and the judges. Mr. Devereaux is standing at the top of the world. Watch him fall.

With those two stars and what sounds like an intriguing premise, Welcome to New York is definitely one we’ll be seeking out. As for this contest, all you have to do is like We Got This Covered on Facebook and retweet our contest message below.

A winner will be chosen on Sept 16th. Good luck!
