Not long after taking to Twitter to praise the cast and crew of Wonder Woman, director Patty Jenkins has shared a new behind the scenes photo which offers us a great look at Gal Gadot suited up as the Amazonian warrior. Sure, she doesn’t look that different to how she appeared in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, but it’s still a great shot nonetheless.

While there have been plenty of rumours pertaining to what’s going on behind the scenes of Suicide Squad and Justice League, Wonder Woman has so far managed to escape any sort of negative coverage online, something which is hopefully an indication that Warner Bros. hasn’t dropped the ball when it comes to the iconic character’s first solo outing on the big screen.

After all, the studio is in desperate need of a couple of big wins after that mixed reception to Batman V Superman, and Wonder Woman is an important release which could have major ramifications for the future of female leads in superhero movies. With Gadot now set to jump straight into shooting Justice League, here’s hoping that 2017 will be her year.
