Days of Future Past will follow the mutants’ fight for survival over the course of two time periods. Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is sent back in time to aid the mutants and can be seen in two pictures in appropriately hip 1970s garb. Fortunately for Wolvie, his distinctive mutton chops were actually fashionable 40 years ago, so perhaps he will enjoy his time in the past.

Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Michael Fassbender, Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Jennfier Lawrence, James McAvoy, Ellen Page, and Peter Dinklage lead the huge cast in what has become one of the most anticipated films of 2014.

X-Men: Days of Future Past will open nationwide on May 23.

Take a look at the pictures and tell us what you think. Are you happy with the slightly odd looks of Quicksilver and Sunspot? Are you confused as to why only Wolverine seems to be showing any emotion? Let us know!
