The Young Losers’ Club Share It: Chapter Two Cast Photo As Filming Wraps

It: Chapter Two may be taking the action forward 27 years to 2016, but the younger version of the The Losers' Club will still have parts to play in this highly anticipated sequel, and now that filming has finally wrapped on Andy Muschietti’s pic, it seems that this set of actors has only just finished up themselves.

Though some of their older equivalents apparently shot their last scenes as far back as August, it looks like the final days of filming were focused on the returning stars from last year’s horror hit. Finn Wolfhard, who plays the scene-stealing Richie, took to Instagram with a photo of himself alongside cast members Jaeden Lieberher, Sophia Lillis, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Wyatt Oleff. And if you’re wondering where Mike actor Chosen Jacobs is, at least Wolfhard tags him in the caption.

You probably shouldn’t expect these actors to get as much screen time in sequel, with the likes of Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy being brought in to play their older equivalents. But one star who’s looking much the same after the 27-year time jump is Bill Skarsgård, who’ll be reprising his role as the villainous Pennywise. Earlier this year, the performer discussed the strange experience of having to terrorize a much older and more high-profile cast this time around.

“It’s weird and it’s surreal because some of them are really big stars and they’re coming in to your thing. They’re stepping into the thing that me and Andy and the kids did. They’re joining the band, in a way. They’re excited, and I just had a lot of fun hanging out with all of them. It’s going to be a very different shooting experience with all adults, for sure, but it will be fun. They’re all really cool and talented people, so I think they will bring a lot to the table.”

Seeing how the first film is still the highest-grossing horror movie of all time, it’s not hard to see why the studios were willing to spring for some pretty big stars this time around. And we’ll find out if It: Chapter Two has made the most of its formidable cast when the movie hits theaters on September 6th, 2019.
