Trance legends Above & Beyond are giving fans a taste of their upcoming Acoustic II album, taking to SoundCloud to drop “On My Way To Heaven” for streaming. The English trio announced last year that a follow up to their first Acoustic album would be due out in June 2016, with a supporting tour scheduled to touch down at several of the most iconic venues in the world.
Eschewing their usual electronic sound palette, Above & Beyond put their musical prowess to the test with their Acoustic tracks, and “On My Way To Heaven” is no exception. Sporting smooth vocals and a string section fit for a James Bond theme, “On My Way To Heaven” is a solid composition with an unforgettable acoustic arrangement that just goes to show how versatile the group really is.
