Avicii Teams Up With Taiwanese Star Wang Leehom For Lose Myself

Proving once again that he's not afraid to push the boundaries of EDM and play outside the rules, Avicii has teamed up with Taiwanese singer Wang Leehom for a new track. Titled Lose Myself, the song will be the anthem for Shanghai's STORM Electronic Music Festival and should help give the Swedish DJ greater exposure over in Asia.

Proving once again that he’s not afraid to push the boundaries of EDM and play outside the rules, Avicii has teamed up with Taiwanese singer Wang Leehom for a new track. Titled Lose Myself, the song will be the anthem for Shanghai’s STORM Electronic Music Festival and should help give the Swedish DJ greater exposure over in Asia.

Despite the Mandarin lyrics, Avicii’s influence is definitely felt here, as he offers up some beautiful piano work and hints of his electronic prowess and big room sound. It’s not your typical EDM track, as it’s more down tempo and doesn’t really have the usual builds and drops found in the DJ’s previous work, but it’s an interesting direction for him to head in and it’s nice to see that Tim is still trying new things, even at this stage in his career.

Check out Lose Myself below and let us know what you think of this collaboration between Avicii and Wang Leehom.
