Axwell Λ Ingrosso Premiere New Kid Ink Collaboration “I Love You”

During their set at India's Sunburn Festival, Axwell Λ Ingrosso unveiled some fresh material for the packed crowd. The duo have uploaded a new clip to their Facebook page, giving us our first taste of an upcoming Kid Ink collaboration tentatively titled "I Love You."

Axwell / Ingrosso have been delivering one massive track after another in recent months, and with On My Way, we've received another fresh sounding song from the former Swedish House Mafia members. Boasting an emotional piano melody to kick things off, infectious vocals by frequent Avicii collaborator Salem Al Fakir, and an electro-infused drop that will have dance floors shaking, the festival-ready anthem was absolutely electrifying when we heard it at Ultra last weekend.

During their set at India’s Sunburn Festival, Axwell Λ Ingrosso unveiled some fresh material for the packed crowd. The duo have uploaded a new clip to their Facebook page this week, giving us our first taste of an upcoming Kid Ink collaboration tentatively titled “I Love You.”

“I Love You” opens with a soulful string section and rolling hand drum samples, paired against some gentle vocal hooks. After building up the energy, Axwell Λ Ingrosso push the track forward into a deep house section, complete with staccato bass stabs, four on the floor rhythms and a rap verse from Kid Ink.

The video clip runs for about two and a half minutes, giving us a fairly substantial idea of what the finished product will sound like. Featuring organic sound selections and some catchy vocal hooks, “I Love You” has all the elements of a hit. Judging from the sample, it sounds like the song is nearly complete, so we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that Axwell Λ Ingrosso will release it in the near future.
