The Chainsmokers Hint At Vocal Collaborator For Next Single

Back in December, The Chainsmokers took to Snapchat to drop some previews for an upcoming single, a song that has come to be known as "Paris." Following in the same vein as their most popular material, "Paris" features catchy vocals from Andrew Taggart as well as those of an unidentified female collaborator. Fans have speculated over who the second vocalist heard on the song might be, with many pointing towards Selena Gomez, but a Tweet from a few months back hints that it may be someone else entirely.

In August, The Chainsmokers Tweeted at French vocalist Louane in reference to a collaboration in the works. The singer first rose to prominence when she competed on the French version of The Voice, stunning the judges and listeners alike with her emotive crooning.

It’s not hard to see how listeners might link the French vocalist to “Paris,” and conceptually it would seem to make sense. For now, it’s too hard to tell from the low quality audio if Louane is indeed the featured vocalist on The Chainsmokers‘ next single, but we could definitely see it panning out.

Check out the audio samples above and let us know in the comments if you think Louane might be the singer on “Paris.”
