In a massive series of Tweets this week, deadmau5 dropped some major announcements regarding his new album, his plans for touring in the near future, and his upcoming live set with Eric Prydz at Tomorrowland.

The update regarding his new LP is probably the most exciting tidbit the Canadian producer had to offer up, revealing that his first studio album since 2014’s While (1<2) is in the process of being mastered. Although he’s still finishing up a few tracks, the fact that he’s in the mastering process means new music should be coming very soon.

As if a new album wasn’t exciting enough, deadmau5 also reveals that he has a few new tricks up his sleeve in the live department, with a new cube stage design on the way. He’s also getting into virtual reality, which is an exciting prospect.

Additionally, the mau5 is planning a solo tour of North America, though the timing on this must be a bit iffy because he says the plan was to kick off in late spring, and it’s now summer of course.

Lastly, he offered up some details on his upcoming live set with Eric Prydz at Tomorrowland, revealing some of the synthesizers he’ll be bringing on stage with him for the performance.

Deadmau5 has obviously been keeping very busy, and the laundry list of updates he dropped on Twitter has us very excited for what’s in store over the next few months.
