Mr. Dillon Francis is getting ready to drop his debut studio album, Money Sucks, Friends Rule, on October 28th. We’ve already heard the first single, Get Low, and now, the 26 year-old DJ has given us another peek at what he has in store for us with When We Were Young.

Featuring Canadian duo Sultan & Ned Shepard and Chain Gang of 1974, this Summer anthem definitely has the potential to be a huge hit for Francis. With its upbeat progressive sound, some may peg it as too mainstream and run of the mill, but there’s no denying how catchy it is. The indie vibe underlying the track and a melodic riff throughout makes it quite different than what we’re used to hearing from Francis, which may turn some people off, but it will definitely open him up to a new audience.
