We’ve been hearing about a potential Jack Ü album for a while now, almost ever since the super duo’s debut at Ultra last year, and this past weekend, we finally got a pretty firm idea of when the disc is set to drop. According to Mad Decent head honcho Diplo, the album will be arriving sometime this month. Though he didn’t provide a precise release date, considering that there’s less than 3 weeks left in February, it’s going to be here pretty soon.
Wes revealed the news last night at the Grammys when he was asked what he’s got coming up. EDM’s hardest worker said that he’s got projects with Major Lazer, Ariana Grande, Ellie Goulding, Travis Scott and more, before revealing that the Jack Ü album would be here later this month.
“The Madonna album’s out in March. I did a lot of her album. Then there’s Major Lazer, my project which I did with Ariana Grande, Ellie Goulding, Travis Scott, Pusha-T, Gwen Stefani–that comes out in April. And with Skrillex I did an album called Jack Ü, that’s out this month. That’s really cool.”
Check out Diplo’s full interview above and stay tuned as we’ll be sure to let you know of the exact release date for the Jack Ü album once we have it.
