After an explosive embrace from the dance music community with their debut album, Jack Ü have been pretty quiet in recent times. The side project of Skrillex and Diplo has been light handed on the release front in addition to recently announcing a break from touring, leaving fans hopeful for something newsworthy from the duo. Thankfully, a new video from a recent performance is offering up a teaser of an unreleased Jack Ü song.

The ID in question features a strummed chord progression and some powerful female vocals courtesy of Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine fame. The song utilizes the kind of pop meets EDM structure we’ve heard before from tracks like “Where Are Ü Now?” and “Lean On,” with some future bass flare thrown into the mix during the drop to keep things current. It definitely has a solid sound and the teaser will have fans looking forward to an official release.

There’s no telling when the song will eventually drop, but it’s sure to be a big one when it does. Meanwhile, we’re still waiting on new music from the duo following Diplo’s promise fives months ago that Jack Ü material was “coming soon.”
