From November 7th-8th, Insomniac will be bringing their flagship festival, EDC, to Orlando. Taking place in Tinker Field, this will be the fourth outing for the festival (in Orlando) and as always, those in attendance can expect "carnival rides, interactive art installations, and breathtaking stages of intense music." From November 7th-8th, Insomniac will be bringing their flagship festival, EDC, to Orlando for the fourth instalment of EDC Orlando. Taking place in Tinker Field, those in attendance can expect “carnival rides, interactive art installations, and breathtaking stages of intense music.” Or, in other words, expect Insomniac to put on another memorable and magical festival experience, as they always do.

When it comes to Insomniac events, the line-ups never disappoint, and EDC Orlando is no different. From Alesso to Flosstradamus, there’s a huge variety of music here and no matter what type of EDM you like to move to, you’re sure to find something here that will suit your taste.

Of particular note, for myself at least, are the following artists:

  • Dash Berlin – Always puts on a moving set and will likely be playing a lot of material from his recently released We Are Pt. 1, which is an excellent album.
  • Above & Beyond – Expect them to drop We’re All We Need, among other unreleased songs from their forthcoming album.
  • Andrew Rayel – He’s one of the hottest names in trance right now and is always a good time when you see him live. He will also likely be promoting his upcoming album Find Your Harmony 2015, which we’re all very excited about.
  • Steve Angello – Always a treat to see any of the former Swedish House Mafia members live. Plus, Angello has a new album releasing soon and I wouldn’t be surprised if he debuted a song or two at EDC Orlando.
  • Dillon Francis – Recently released his debut album Money Sucks, Friends Rule, which we were very impressed with. A lot of the songs on the disc lend themselves to live sets and we look forward to hearing tracks like We Make It Bounce and Love In the Middle of a Firefight in a festival setting, should he choose to play them.

That being said, you can’t really go wrong with any of the acts at EDC Orlando. Tickets are still on sale and if you’re able to make it we highly suggest checking the festival out. Insomniac always delivers a very special experience and you can bet that this instalment of their flagship fest will be another highly enjoyable and memorable outing.
