The as-yet-unidentified production begins with atmospheric sound effects and an ambient melody, all of which ever-so-slowly build towards the drop of the track (much to the dismay of an impatient festival goer whose complaints were captured in the recording). After the otherworldly progressions finally reach their peak, the audience is rewarded with a delightfully experimental drop whose scale and time signature are like little else in mainstream electronic music.

Needless to say, Flume‘s Skin LP will prove one of the more memorable releases of 2016. Make sure to check back frequently for more updates on the Australian talent’s upcoming album, and let us know what you think of his new track in the comments section below.
