Coordinated between charitable organization Magic Bus, Hardwell’s United We Are Foundation and Guestlistevents.in, the event was headlined by Hardwell, who was moved to do something philanthropic for India’s marginalized populations after a recent visit.

“I was driving to the festival site,” he recalls, “and the first thing I noticed was homeless kids seeking shelter, because it was pouring rain, underneath my billboard. That felt super weird.”

As weird as it may have felt at the time, it looks to have been responsible for a concept that many of the show’s organizers expect to duplicate in numerous countries throughout the world.
