To say that Jauz has been on a roll would be an understatement. The fresh faced producer has been dominating the dance music scene over the last year, releasing plenty of high octane tracks and finding himself in high demand as a collaborator. This week, he shared a preview of his upcoming single with superstar DJ Tiësto, giving fans the first taste of “Infected.”
The preview opens with a spiraling synth sequence and an ethereal chord progression, before a modulated vocal sample fills the speakers. The two producers skillfully push the track to the top with rolling snares and a pitch riser, leading into the bass heavy drops. Jauz’s trademark bass house style dominates the dance sections with distorted synths and pounding house beats, and the preview leaves us wanting more by the time it ends.
Considering the marquee value behind a Jauz/Tiësto collab, expectations will certainly be high and thankfully, the preview doesn’t disappoint.
“Infected” will sees its official release on July 15 via Tiësto’s imprint Musical Freedom Records.
