“Call” opens with a somber piano progression as Kasbo transforms Cheney’s voice into a lead melody. Light percussion then joins the mix as the vocalist delivers some sped up topline melodies over an R&B flavored backdrop. Moving into the drop, the song explodes into a chorus of airy synth chords and off-kilter future bass rhythms that converge to form a smooth but energetic wall of sound.

With “Call,” Kasbo manages to deliver a unique future bass production despite the style’s recent spike in popularity among dance music artists. The song features a lush sound and some catchy vocals courtesy of Cheney, and is definitely another memorable entry for the Swedish producer.
