Knife Party have decided to cancel their 2014 tour and instead, will be headlining the main stage at the upcoming Future Music Festival. Rob and Gareth were originally set to kick things off with a show at Sydney’s Hordern Pavillion on December 13th, but have now cancelled the entire tour in favor of making their second appearance at the upcoming Aussie festival.

“We were planning to come down and do a little tour over there,” Rob explained, “but we got approached by Future Music at the last minute who said, ‘Instead of doing that why don’t you headline the main stage?’ We couldn’t really do both at once so we had to pick one and that was it.”

For those who had tickets to see the duo perform, we have some good news. You can, of course, get a full refund if you’d like, or, you can use the ticket to get into the festival, which will save you quite a bit of money. You don’t need to swap it or exchange it for anything, either. Simply show up with your Knife Party ticket and you’ll be granted access.

Check out the dates for the 2014 Future Music Festival below and let us know if you’re excited to see Knife Party added to the line-up.
