Kygo To Contribute To Entourage Soundtrack, Debut Album Coming In 2015

If you haven't yet heard of Kygo, you better start getting familiar with him. Primed to be EDM's next superstar, the 23-year-old Norwegian DJ is in the early stages of blowing up, and doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon. Currently on a sold out world tour, Kygo's infectious tropical house music has got everyone in a frenzy, and for good reason. The producer is bringing a fresh, new sound to a genre that is currently full of cookie-cutter tracks that offer little to no creativity.

If you haven’t yet heard of Kygo, you better start getting familiar with him. Primed to be EDM’s next superstar, the 23-year-old Norwegian DJ is in the early stages of blowing up, and doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon. Currently on a sold out world tour, Kygo’s infectious tropical house music has got everyone in a frenzy, and for good reason. The producer is bringing a fresh, new sound to a genre that is currently full of cookie-cutter tracks which offer little to no creativity.

But I digress. The point is: Kygo is about to be huge, and it’s about time that people sit up and take notice of him. In a recent article on Billboard, it was revealed that the DJ has a busy slate for 2015. Not only will he be releasing his debut album just before Coachellea (which takes place in April), but he also may have a spot on the soundtrack for the Entourage movie.

Of course, no details have been made available on either of these projects, but Kygo has been playing one of the album’s singles during some of his live sets, and having seen him multiple times over the past few months, I can tell you that it’s a winner. Offering up that same tropical house sound that his remixes have, the original track fits perfectly into the DJ’s sets and is sure to please those who can’t get enough of his music.

We’ll keep you posted when we get more news on Kygo‘s debut album, and his spot on the Entourage soundtrack, but in the meantime, check out his guest mix for Diplo & Friends below and start getting acquainted with the next big name in EDM.
