Though Kygo has made a name for himself in the EDM world thanks to his special brand of tropical house, he appears to be trying new things as he gears up for the release of his debut album.

On the Norwegian television show Senkveld, the producer dropped a new track featuring Labrinth. Titled “Fragile,” it’s an anthemic, emotional tune that’s far more vocally driven than the more melodic songs that he’s known for.

That being said, a departure isn’t necessarily a bad thing, and as is always the case with Kygo, it’s a well crafted piece of work, one which we can definitely see becoming a hit as we inch ever closer to festival season.
