A teaser of the new single had previously been heard on Tuesday, but now the full version of “All We Know” has been premiered on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio show and has hit the internet for streaming.
Stylistically, “All We Know” follows in the same vein of previous efforts like “Roses” and “Closer,” with bittersweet pop verses juxtaposed alongside fluttery future bass drops. A gentle string melody kicks the new song off before an artificial tom fill signals in the first verse, as Phoebe Ryan’s breathy vocals enter the mix. Moving past the verses, The Chainsmokers introduce rhythmic synth chords over uplifting hip hop style beats.
