The rigors of tour life make it difficult for artists to release music at a rate that will keep them relevant in the fast-moving electronic music landscape, so Lost Kings decided to get their studio time in while they could. With the second leg of their winter tour kicking off in just over a week, the duo has crunched out a remix of Cardiknox’s “On My Way.”
Ironically, the original already featured some of the glassy synth work that’s characteristic of Lost Kings’ signature sound – which is probably what drew them to it in the first place. As such, their remix works extremely well, taking the already infectious song and turning it into a euphoric, dance-ready hit, one which will no doubt make its way into numerous festival sets over the coming months and get people moving and grooving all over the dance floor.
While it signifies a slight departure for Lost Kings, “On My Way” is yet another winning remix from the LA-based duo and ranks right up there with their best work. The boys had a huge 2015 and with the release of this track, it’s clear that they intend on continuing that momentum throughout the new year. I think I speak for everyone when I say that I can’t wait to see where they head next.
