Markus Schulz Kicks Off New City Series With Bayfront

This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

Markus Schulz is starting 2015 off on an exciting note, as the first instalment of his City Series is now online for your listening pleasure. Titled “Bayfront,” and acting as an ode to Miami, the project will see Schulz release a new track each month, with each one being dedicated to one of the DJ’s favorite cities around the world. At the end of the year, they’ll be compiled into a 12-track album called Markus Schulz – World Tour 2015.

Deciding to start off with Miami was almost a no brainer for the German producer, as he considers himself a native in the city and cites Club Space as one of his favorite venues. Not only that, but the idea behind the monthly tracks are to dedicate them to cities where he’ll be playing in that specific month, as he plans to record elements of the live shows and incorporate them into the tracks when it comes time to put the compilation together.

For January, Markus Schulz will be testing out Bayfront at the Groove Cruise Festival, and we have no doubt that the trance track will be a major hit. Check it out for yourself above and let us know what you think.
