Marshmello Teases Another ID On Snapchat

After teasing some unreleased material on Snapchat last week, Marshmello is back to share a preview of another never before heard tune on the social media platform.

Because this is Snapchat we’re talking about, the preview only gives us a nine second glimpse at Marshmello’s latest ID, but from what we can hear, the helmeted producer appears to be exploring a retro R&B vibe. The preview starts at the tail end of a build up, leading into a mid tempo drop with bouncy chord hits, hand claps and soulful vocals, which appear to be sampled from Mariah Carey’s Grammy nominated single “Always Be My Baby.”

Marshmello tends to keep himself busy in the studio and it looks like he’s got a lot of material waiting in the wings. We’re not sure when his latest ID will be released, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for when it officially drops.
