With Dillon Francis‘ upcoming album, Money Sucks, Friends Rule, just around the corner (it drops on October 28th), the hype machine continues to press on. Over the past couple of months, the EDM jokester has given us almost half of the disc, with tracks like When We Were Young, Make It Bounce, Can’t Take It and more all finding their way onto the internet. You’d think that Francis would want to save the rest of the album for release, but now, here we are again with another new song.
This one is titled Set Me Free and is a collaboration with Martin Garrix. Combining the Dutch DJ’s big room sound with Francis’ bouncy moombahton style and a huge drop, the result is a banger that should easily find a place in many upcoming festival sets.
As with most of what I’ve heard from the upcoming album, I’m definitely digging this one and love the wide range that Francis is showing off so far. Each track that we’ve heard has its own distinct style and sound and I have no doubt that it will all culminate in an impressive debut studio album.
Check out Set Me Free below and if you like what you hear, head on over to iTunes and pick up the latest from Dillon Francis.
