Before embarking on a world spanning tour of epic scale, Mija has unleashed her remix of Major Lazer’s “Be Together.” Dubbed “B2GETHER,” the remix is a smooth reinvention, creating tasteful synergies and exploiting much of the original’s most memorable moments. Upping the pitch and vamping the bassline against dreamy synths, Mija has taken a less intrusive approach to this mix, all of which make it a subtly captivating beauty.
Essentially her first publicly available solo-production, “B2GETHER” is a nod to what we can expect from Mija as a solo artist. We’re still hungry for an entirely original Mija track, and with at least 45 stops on her upcoming Sick.af World Tour, it’s certainly possible she’ll be tucking a few surprise productions into her sets.
