On this version of “All We Know,” Oliver Heldens strips away the future bass sheen of the original in favor of a more low key house approach. Simple four on the floor rhythms pound out a persistent beat throughout the tune, set against uplifting tropical bell melodies and muted bass tones. Phoebe Ryan’s vocals still appear in full force, albeit sped up to match Heldens’ house rendition as the shuffle king delivers one of his breeziest outings to date.

Compared to The Chainsmokers’ version, the new “All We Know” remix takes quite a different path. Where the original was another example of the duo’s signature brand of poppy dance music, Oliver Heldens conjures up a hybrid of tropical and future house, delivering an upbeat interpretation of the song with an identity all its own.
