After executing one of the most comprehensive visions of last year, and arguably of the past decade, Porter Robinson has announced the release of an official Worlds Remixed EP. Worlds has maintained an extraordinary influence on the electronic scene, and if it’s any judge of popularity, Porter’s recent collaboration with Galaxxxy sold out in under three hours.
The remix EP has surely been meticulously curated for this official release, and boasts the work of 12 artists who took a chance at remixing the now classic tracks from Worlds.
The EP is scheduled to drop on October 2nd, and will feature the work of ODESZA, Mat Zo, San Holo, and Rob Mayth. That last artist is particularly interesting, Â as for those who may not know, Rob Mayth is best known for his Hands-up productions from the early 2000’s and was an influential artist for Porter Robinson in his earliest stages of producing. That’s doubtless to be a special track on the album, and we can’t wait to see what else is in store from the other 11 remixes.
