Shaun Frank took to social media today to share a video of he and Delaney Jane performing an acoustic rendition of their song “Heaven.” The single was originally released as a collaboration with the highly respected KSHMR, featuring an electronic backbone that underscored the somber pop song.
Shot in Shaun Frank’s living room performance space, the video features the Canadian musician on piano as Delaney Jane belts out her familiar emotive vocal delivery. The stripped down performance of “Heaven” reveals the delicate ballad buried beneath KSHMR’s production in the original version, while shedding light on the creative process that lead to the finished product.
As if an acoustic rendition of the gorgeous song wasn’t enough, the DJ and producer invited fans to suggest other suitable candidates for the acoustic treatment. Considering the success of the “Heaven” video, we’ll be looking forward to more acoustic performances from Shaun Frank in the future.
