Skrillex has taken to Twitter over the weekend to reveal some bad news for Jack Ü fans following the last stop of their latest tour at the UK's Reading Festival. In a now deleted Tweet, the producer and DJ seemed to hint at a hiatus from Jack Ü's touring efforts. Skrillex has taken to Twitter over the weekend to reveal some bad news for Jack Ü fans following the last stop of their latest tour at the UK’s Reading Festival. In a now deleted Tweet, the producer and DJ seemed to hint at a hiatus from Jack Ü’s touring efforts. The message stated “Just did out Last jack Ü festivals of 2016 …and for a long long time. thank you for all the people who came out to support us,” leaving an indefinite time frame until the duo will hit the road again.

The ambiguous nature of the Tweet has fans speculating as to just what Skrillex meant about the future of Jack Ü shows. It may mean that Sonny and Diplo are taking a break from performing to focus on creating new music, or if taken literally, it may simply mean that they are taking a break from playing festival shows.

Jack Ü’s final performance at Reading Festival serves as a fitting send off for the EDM super group that saw them unveiling their Florence And The Machine collab for the first time, as well as curating a solid hour of music. Whatever the future of Jack Ü holds, Skrillex and Diplo certainly know how to go out in style.

Since the original Tweet in question was deleted shortly after being sent out by Skrillex, we expect the duo may offer up some clarity on the hiatus in the near future. Until they do, though, let us know what you make of all this by dropping a comment below.
