Skrillex Confirms New Album To Drop This Year

While visiting Australia, Skrillex joined the International Art of Bowling team for a fun night out. Nothing out of the ordinary happened, except for the fact that the tastemaker nonchalantly dropped that he'd be releasing a new solo album this year. The weird thing about this is that there wasn't any kind of official announcement of any sort. Instead, it was an eager fan who caught the bombshell in the video and first reported it to ThisSongIsSick.

The weird thing about this is that there wasn’t any kind of official announcement to accompany the news. Instead, it was an eager fan who caught the bombshell in the video and first reported it to ThisSongIsSick.

Don’t believe us? Check out the video for yourself above. Sonny drops the news around the 1:45 mark. Unfortunately, he didn’t expand on what the album would include, nor did he reveal who he would be working with. But, given that Skrillex is one of the biggest names in dance music at the moment, you can bet that there will be some massive collaborations featured on the disc.

As always, we’ll keep you posted when we hear more. Until then, though, let us know what you think the producer has in store for us.
