Skrillex’s Flip Of Marshmello’s Where Are Ü Now Remix Finally Makes It Listenable

Remember how when you played telephone as a child, the message being whispered from person to person would end up completely indiscernible before finding its way back to its originator? That’s what’s happened to Jack Ü’s “Where Are Ü Now,” with Skrillex‘s flip of Marshmello’s remix, and we’re not complaining one bit.

The original track left so much to be desired that the creative liberties taken by Marshmello were welcome indeed – but as with his other releases there’s a degree of maturity as a producer that’s missing, as though perhaps he relied too heavily on sample packs during the process. With the addition of Skrillex’s sawtooth-heavy drop, though, the track finally sounds like something that might not make us start a mass exodus to the next stage over when we hear it.

Tell us, did you enjoy the edits made by Skrillex to Marshmello’s remix of Jack Ü and Justin Bieber’s “Where Are Ü Now,” or do you think that the original version was the best one? Take a trip down to the comments section and let us know what you think.
