It’s certainly not uncommon for a musician to debut new music live a little while before its official release; doing so serves the dual purpose of gauging crowd response while simultaneously creating early buzz. However, any artists planning to do so ought to keep in mind that an entire fiscal quarter is generally too much time in between the live premiere and the release, as even dedicated fans are liable to forget all about it during that interval.

Oddly enough, too, the live video captured from Ultra Europe (which can be seen above) is still preferable to the 15-second clip made available to non-Apple Music subscribers.

Take a listen to both versions though and let us know what you think of the track by sounding off in the comments.
