W&W And MOTi’s Spack Jarrow Is Too Ridiculous Not To Love

The EDM world has been throwing us some curveballs today, and this one's sure to make its rounds in DJ sets across the globe. The worlds of W&W and MOTi collided to result in "Spack Jarrow," a tongue-in-cheek main stage anthem that not-so-subtly pays homage to the character Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

The synth lead of “Spack Jarrow” vaguely resembles the theme music from the films but is built into the framework of a progressive house banger. It’s hard to figure out whether the track was intended to poke fun at the larger-than-life bravado of mainstream progressive house from the beginning, or if the three artists realized it sounded that way halfway through and chose the name accordingly – either way, the song does boast impressive production values in addition to being an amusing parody of sorts.
