Moving away from his more pop-y sound that we’ve seen recently with songs like “I Want You To Know” and “Break Free,” “Addicted To A Memory” sees the producer return to his electro roots (see: “Slam The Door” and “Shave It Up”) for a track that once again shows just how versatile he really is.

With hypnotic vocals from Bahari and heavy synths during the drop, the song is a nice change of pace for Zedd and has us very excited to see what else he has up his sleeve with True Colors. While I have no problem with his radio-friendly pop-y music, I’ve been waiting to hear some more old school Zedd for a while now and this track definitely scratches that itch.

Take a listen to “Addicted To A Memory” above and be sure to place your pre-order for Zedd‘s True Colors on iTunes!
