Now that Alice in Borderland has been renewed for a third season, we’re going to be seeing much more of Ryōhei, Yuuzuha, and the gang. Now’s as good a time as any to get a little more acquainted with the young talents, especially because we’ll be seeing them creep up in more projects.

Born on Sept. 7, 1994, Yamazaki is 29 years old and is 5’8. He is a talented Japanese actor known for his versatile roles in various films and TV dramas such as Death Note, Kingdom, and Kiss That Kills. He captured the hearts of many fans with his charismatic presence in the acting industry. In Alice in Borderland, the Virgo plays the protagonist Ryohei Arisu, a jobless gamer who is transported to the world of Borderland. His character is shown to be intelligent, resourceful, and loyal.

Tao Tsuchiya (Yuzuha Usagi)

Born on Feb. 3, 1995, Tsuchiya is a 28-year-old Japanese actress and model. At five feet tall, her petite frame adds to her interesting on-screen persona. She takes on the role of Yuzuha Usagi, a professional mountaineer haunted by the disappearance of her father. Usagi is the heroine of the series and the love interest of Arisu, the protagonist. Tsuchiya is an Aquarius known for her captivating performances in various genres of movies and TV shows such as Rurouni Kenshin, Mare, and Orange.

Nijiro Murakami (Shuntarou Chishiya)

Born on March 17, 1997, Nijiro is a 26-year-old Japanese actor and voice actor. He is a Pisces and is 5’6. The actor is widely known for his roles in projects like Still the Water, Tokyo Revengers, and Brass Dreams. Nijiro takes on the role of Chishiya in Alice in Borderland, a calm and calculating character who showcases his strategic prowess several times in the series. Having accumulated much knowledge about the games and how to overcome them, he always manages to gain an advantage.

Dori Sakurada (Suguru Niragi)

Born Dec. 7, 1991, Dori Sakurada is a 31-year-old Japanese actor and singer. He is 5’9 and a Sagittarius. He is also popular for his performances in various films and series including Coffee and Vanilla, Scum’s Wish, and The Prince of Tennis. In Alice in Borderland, Dori plays the role of Niragi, a dominant and ruthless character who is narcissistic, impulsive, and stubborn. Niragi is shown to be obsessed with his idea of fun and excitement, willing to do anything for fun, even if it means assaulting people.

Aya Asahina (Hikari Kuina)

Born on Oct. 6, 1993, Aya Asahina is 30 years old and 5’5. She is a Japanese actress and model born under the Libra sign. She is best known for her roles in Girl Gun Lady, From the End of the World, and Grand Blue. Aya played the role of Kuina, one of the most complex and dynamic characters in the series. Kuina was trained to become the successor of her father’s dojo. With only support from her mother, she undergoes sex reassignment surgery and begins living her life as an apparel clerk.

Sho Aoyagi (Morizono Aguni)

Born on April 12, 1985, Sho Aoyagi is 38 years old and six feet tall. He is a Japanese actor and a member of the all-male theater troupe called Gekidan Exile. The Aries is known for his roles in films and series such as Tatara Samurai, Kuinige Killer, andWonderful Single Life. Sho takes on the character of Aguni, a skilled sniper and the former leader of the militant faction of the Beach. He is shown to prefer working alone, taking the route of the lone wolf.

Ayaka Miyoshi (Rizuna Ann)

Born on June 18, 1996, Ayaka Miyoshi is a 27-year-old Japanese actress, model, and former idol. She is a Gemini and 5’6. Ayaka is a talented actress best known for her work in projects like Inuyashiki, Howling Village, and Angel Heart. Here, she takes on the role of Ann, a former executive of the Beach. The character is intelligent and perceptive, opting to play the Diamond games. Ann is also known to rarely show her emotions and is picky with whom she trusts.
