Every Movie Coming In 2018 That Should Be On Your Radar

Sometimes, we can look ahead to the coming year’s movie release schedule, and feel less than enthused. 2018 is most assuredly not one of those occasions. The next calendar year looks set to deliver something for everyone. From superheroes and family fare, to horrors and thrillers; from big studio comedies and smaller, indie films, to interesting documentaries and true-story dramas – 2018 is already packed with arrival slots for some very exciting films.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Accomplished writer and producer Simon Kinberg makes his directorial debut with the 13th instalment of the X-Men movie franchise, which explores the Jean-Grey centred Dark Phoenix saga of the Marvel comic book source material. This is the third X-Men film to be released in 2018, after The New Mutants and the Deadpool sequel, and is notable for its woman-led plot.

This instalment see Albus Dumbledore recruit Newt Scamander to thwart the nefarious plans of Dark wizard, Gellert Grindelwald, who has escaped the custody of MACUSA (the Magical Congress of the United States of America).
