Hot off his excellent collaboration with Said The Sky last month on “Fire,” 3LAU is back with his next release. The producer has teamed up with vocalist MAX on his latest single “You Want More,” which is out today through his not-for-profit record label BLUME. Like “Fire,” this new track is being released to benefit the Pencils of Promise! charity, with all proceeds being donated to raise funds for educational efforts in third world countries.

“You Want Me” opens serenely with a gentle synth pad passage, before MAX’s smooth vocals enter the mix over a rolling bassline and upbeat rhythms. As the song progresses, 3LAU offers up another side of his production expertise as he fills the mix with plucky arpeggios, soaring melodies and lush strings, resulting in a dreamy single with an ethereal vibe.

“You Want More” differs from 3LAU’s more dance oriented productions with a mesmerizing synthpop sound driven by MAX’s memorable topline melodies. In addition to being a great song, you also have to give 3LAU credit for stepping up to the plate for an important cause, as we don’t see that happen too often in this industry.

Head here to check out the new track and stay tuned for an official embed, as we’ll have one for you as soon as it’s made available.
